I am an experienced relationship and young peoples counsellor, based in Leicester, working with couples and individuals, helping them understand themselves and their relationships.

About me and my practice
I warm plain speaking and consider myself to be a down to earth person! I understand life can be difficult at times, so I like to take a practical approach to encourage clients to look at situations from different perspectives.
I offer a flexible approach, using an Integrative and holistic approach. Using other interventions such as CBT when necessary.
I understand finding a counsellor can be a difficult if not a daunting process..
Initially people are quite nervous as they do not know what to expect, so I start with a brief chat to address some of your questions and concerns and we take things from there.
Experience
I have worked as a counsellor for Relate for almost 20 years, and in private practice since 2016. I have also worked in a number of different settings, organisations, schools and colleges.
With a wide range of issues especially around relationships and family matters. I have also trained to work with young people from thr age of 14 years.

Initial Consultation
Counselling is a personal relationship between two people;the initial session allows potential clients and the counsellor to see if a relationship of trust,openess and honesty can be built in order to work together.
I also offer 10-15 free telephone consultation.
Fees
Individuals £60
Couples £65
All sessions are 1hour
Some concessions are available.
Payments are by Bank Transfer prior to the sessions.
